Professional Development Diploma in International Hospitality & Services Administration

The Diploma program is aimed at those seeking an industry qualification to complement their existing professional profile, but who may not have the academic background to enroll in the full Online MBA. This route also provides the opportunity for industry professionals to enhance their critical thinking and problem solving skills, by offering relevant content across a range of topics taken from the Online MBA curricula that can be immediately applied into their workplace.

Students seeking the full MBA have the opportunity to apply to transfer to the Online MBA program upon successful completion of the Professional Development Diploma.

Students will complete four bridging courses, two core course, and eight elective courses from the MBA program to be awarded the Professional Development Diploma (36 credits in total).

Admission Requirements

1. Bachelor Degree preferably in Hospitality, Tourism or Event Management, or a Business Degree or equivalent qualification
2. Significant relevant work experience
3. English
   1. Minimum TOEFL score of 575 paper based or 230 for the computer scoring system or 90 for the internet based test
   2. Certificate in Advanced English (CAE): Grade B
   3. I.E.L.T.S. minimum overall of 6.0. in all components
4. All English certificates must have been issued in the last 12 months prior to admission
5. Candidates must submit two confidential professional reference forms which the Admissions Team will send to the candidate upon receipt of application

With the Online MBA and Postgraduate programs, you will pay 'per course'. This flexible payment plan means that you effectively pay as you learn.

Below we give you a breakdown of the full tuition fee per credit along with the application, materials and technology fees required for the course.

All billing and payment should be made in US Dollars. Invoices will be sent to students via their email with the possibility of two methods of payment; either with a credit card or via bank transfer.

What's included in your Materials Fee:

Fee provides access to the Glion online library and all materials, articles, e-books, multi-media presentations and additional software delivered with the Blackboard learning environment.

What's included in your Technology Fee:

Fee provides 24/7 access to eLearning environment, including Blackboard, your Glion email service and all technology subscriptions and user fees.

What's not included in your fee:

1. Physical facilities at Glion Institute of Higher Education campus in Switzerland
